Seriously… a poop company?
Yep. And we couldn't be prouder of it.
Two neighbors. One uncomfortable conversation. One company.
We didn't set out to build a company around poop. We were just neighbors in East Austin grabbing drinks, talking about life — and eventually getting into the kind of conversations most people avoid.
Including what was (and wasn't) happening in the bathroom.
At first it was just that — conversation. A few laughs. A few "is that normal?" moments. But it kept coming up because we were both dealing with our own gut issues. And once you start paying attention to your gut, you realize how much it shows up everywhere else. How you feel. How you move. How your whole day goes.
Around the same time, life was moving forward. Careers, marriages, kids. Marc had co-founded Mosie Baby — helping people start families with the first FDA-cleared at-home insemination kit. Josh was building and investing in wellness brands focused on products that make a real difference in everyday life.
Different paths. Same realization: for something so universal, gut health was either confusing, inconsistent, or just not talked about at all.
So we built something simple. A straightforward, capsule-based system that fits into real life. No complicated routines. No powders you dread mixing. No mystery ingredients.
Yes, this started as a real problem. But it also started as something we actually wanted to build. Something useful. Something honest. And something we'd have fun building together.
Because if you're going to build a company around poop, you should probably be able to laugh a little.
